Updated Terms and Conditions – Inquiry Group

Welcome to Inquiry Group. By engaging our services, clients agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are free to seek another service provider without any hard feelings.

1. General Principles
   1. Our services are provided on a professional basis, and we make every effort to deliver accurate and timely results.
   2. Clients are under no obligation to accept our services. Refusal to accept these terms does not result in any penalty or prejudice.
   3. Inquiry Group operates nationwide across South Africa and may, from time to time, contract trusted third parties to perform certain tasks. In such cases, results may also depend on feedback or timelines from those third parties.
2. Nature of Investigation
   1. Investigations may vary significantly in duration depending on the circumstances. An investigation can take anywhere from one day to several months.
   2. While we strive to complete investigations as quickly as possible, the timeline is influenced by factors outside of our control.
   3. No investigation can be guaranteed. The nature of investigative work makes absolute certainty impossible.
3. Client Communication
   1. Clients will be informed of findings as they become available. We will not be pressured to provide immediate updates.
   2. Repeated calls, messages, or other forms of daily follow-ups are not permitted. We ask clients to remain patient and allow the investigation to proceed.
   3. Attempting to influence or pressure investigators will not change the investigative process.
4. Payments
   1. Inquiry Group provides a secure online payment portal directly on our website. This payment system is fully encrypted and secure.
   2. We do not have access to your card or banking details at any time. The website does not save or store any payment information whatsoever.
   3. Please proceed with payment only if you are completely satisfied with these Terms and Conditions. If you are not satisfied, do not use the service.
   4. After accepting these terms and completing your payment, you must also complete the form relating to the investigation you require.
   5. Upon successful payment, a unique reference number will be allocated to you. Keep this reference number safe for all future correspondence.
   6. If you have any questions, please send an email to investigations@inquiry.org.za with your reference number in the subject line. We will respond at the earliest convenience.
5. Client Conduct
   1. Clients must conduct themselves respectfully. Any form of defamation, slander, or public disparagement of Inquiry Group will result in legal action.
   2. Clients must not attempt to intimidate or manipulate our staff. Any such behavior will lead to immediate termination of services without refund.
6. Confidentiality
   1. All information provided by the client will remain confidential and will not be shared with third parties without express permission, except where legally required.
   2. Clients are expected to maintain discretion regarding the investigation, including refraining from publicly disclosing investigative activities.
7. Limitation of Liability
   1. Inquiry Group is not liable for any losses, damages, or distress resulting from the outcome of an investigation.
   2. Results are based on the information available and the circumstances encountered. We cannot control the behavior of third parties or external factors.
8. Scope of Services
   1. Investigations may include surveillance, interviews, research, and other investigative activities as agreed upon.
   2. Inquiry Group reserves the right to refuse cases that are deemed unethical, illegal, or beyond our capacity.
9. Changes to Terms
   1. These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Clients are encouraged to review the terms periodically.
   2. Continued engagement of services implies acceptance of any updates or modifications.
10. Governing Law
    1. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
    2. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in any province in South Africa.
